ForeverU is a nonprofit organization empowering teens in grades 7-12 with the mental skills and tools for becoming more mindful, resilient, and emotionally intelligent. Founded in 2012 by a then 16 year old Ryan Hesslau, ForeverU was formed after Ryan learned of the tragic suicide of a local high school student. Now, Ryan, volunteers and trained mentors help youth who are struggling find the resilience to keep living. They offer a transformative three-part program journey that aims to create a positive, long-lasting impact on adolescent mental health and wellness, social and character development, self-esteem, and desire for personal achievement. The program is designed to be an incredible add on to the student’s work with outside licensed mental health professionals. Ryan and his team’s favorite part of ForeverU is that they get to be the person that they needed when they were younger. They ensure that the student’s experience at ForeverU is tailored to the student’s own story.
