FOR THE SALAD
- 3Ā c.Ā finely chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 2Ā c.Ā shredded red cabbage
- 2Ā c.Ā shredded chicken
- 1/2Ā c.Ā jarred mandarin oranges, drained
- 1Ā instant ramen packet, crushed (flavor packet discarded)
- 1/2Ā c.Ā shredded carrot
- 1/3Ā c.Ā sliced green onions
- 1/4Ā c.Ā sliced almonds
FOR THE DRESSING
- 3Ā Tbsp.Ā rice wine vinegar
- 2Ā Tbsp.Ā honey
- 1Ā Tbsp.Ā sesame oil
- 1Ā Tbsp.Ā hoisin sauce
- 2Ā Tbsp.Ā soy sauce
- 1Ā tsp.Ā minced ginger
- 1Ā clove garlic, minced
- 1/4Ā c.Ā vegetable oil
Directions
- StepĀ 1 Make salad:Ā In a large bowl, toss together lettuce, red cabbage, chicken, mandarin oranges, crushed ramen noodles, carrots, green onions, and sliced almonds.
- StepĀ 2 Make dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, honey, sesame oil, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Slowly drizzle in vegetable oil, whisking constantly until emulsified.
- StepĀ 3 Before serving, drizzle dressing over salad and toss to combine.
