Are you looking for a place to give a teen a chance to become a confident, resilient leader? The Alive Center in Naperville, Aurora, and Hanover Park is a non-profit organization where teens grades 6-12 can build meaningful connections with peers and caring adults, discover what their passions are, and learn valuable leadership skills. Attendee Daniel Gallardo, age 16, says “Alive is a great place just to interact with people, no matter your interests. It’s a place to make new friends, especially when you feel a bit excluded.” Some of their programs include free after-school drop-in hours, mentoring, tutoring, clubs, life skills classes, leadership opportunities, study lounge, and teen led, teen driven programs.
