Ryan holds a Master of Arts in Counseling with a specialization in marriage, couple, and family counseling from Governors State University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University. He is Gottman Level 1 Certified in couples therapy, which equips him with research-backed strategies to help couples strengthen their connections. He integrates a variety of modalities, including Bowen Family Systems Theory, mindfulness practices, and person-centered approaches.
Ryan’s therapeutic approach focuses on helping clients uncover multigenerational patterns, process trauma, and rewrite the next chapter of their lives with confidence and independence. He believes in empowering clients to heal from wounds, find their true selves, and create meaningful change. Drawing inspiration from his own journey as a client, Ryan credits his personal experience with a therapist for sparking his passion to help others. His insight, sensitivity, and genuine care make him an ideal guide for those seeking healing and growth.
Outside of therapy, Ryan channels his creativity through music and holds a certificate in audio engineering and music production. He also enjoys pondering life’s big questions with his two cats, Cuddle and Felix, by his side. If you’re ready to process trauma, strengthen relationships, or embrace your sensitivity as a strength, Ryan is here to help you every step of the way.
