As someone who has witnessed the impact of generational trauma firsthand, Amanda Zupancic, MA, brings deep empathy and genuine presence to her therapeutic practice. She specializes in mood disorders, stress management, anxiety, relationship issues, and navigating life transitions for individuals (ages 14-65+) and couples. Amanda also provides support for highly sensitive people (HSPs), religious/spiritual concerns, and self-esteem challenges. She holds a BA in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of St. Francis and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University.
Drawing on her seven years of experience—including time spent in crisis care, psychiatric settings, and private practice—Amanda creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can rewrite the next chapter of their lives with confidence and independence. She uses evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients break free from limiting beliefs and discover their strengths while navigating life challenges.
“I appreciate and affirm things about clients that they might have lost sight of,” Amanda says. Her greatest strength lies in being genuinely interested and engaged with each person she encounters, becoming a trusted confidant in their journey toward improvement. For those feeling apprehensive about therapy, Amanda normalizes the initial awkwardness and encourages openness to the process.
When she’s not helping clients, Amanda loves walking outdoors to clear her mind and reconnect with nature. She’s also an avid true crime junkie, fascinated by the nuances of human behavior, and if given the chance, she’d love to experience a day as a zookeeper, surrounded by animals that bring peace and comfort to her life.
